Kylies primary role in the business unit is marketing and technology. Kylie graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Commerce degree majoring in Marketing and Management, she is also ¾ of the way through a Diploma of Digital marketing through the Australian College of Marketing which is a study hub for the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the UK. Kylie also completed two years of a 3 year Bachelor of Information Science degree… It is with these skills, that team Young can offer such innovations as Virtual tours at no cost to our clients. On a personal level Kylie is a former Southern Sting, Capital Shakers, Otago Rebels and NZA Netball player, as well as a NZ White Sox Softball squad member and has been involved in teams winning 13 senior National Championship titles across 3 sports, Netball, Softball, and Cycling (incl Para cycling). On the world stage Kylie won silver and bronze medals at the UCI Paracycling Track World Champs riding for New Zealand as a pilot for visually impaired cyclist Phillipa Gray.
Vicky has had 40 years in sales including New Zealand sales manager for Yunca Heating, a company she previously co-owned. During this time Vicky undertook numerous sales courses including buyer behaviour. Vickys main role in the Team Young Business unit is Communication strategy, script writing, buyer matches and presentation advise to our vendors on top of being the key in holding all of Team Young deals together, this involves liasing with builders, banks, and vendors and purchasers to ensure the sale goes ahead and both parties are left feeling happy with the outcome.
Both Kylie and Vicky list and sell property, however having a team approach ensures our clients get the best of both agents skill sets.
